I’m now in the process (slow and painful) of moving my Mirage photo collection to Flickr, to make it more accessible, and I thought I’d share some of it here as I go.
I’ll start with Odawara, since it’s Kagetora’s birthplace :) Odawara is mentioned in the novels more than once, in different timelines, but as a location is featured in vol.6 chapter 8, when Takaya visits it with Ujiteru. They go to Odawara castle park and Miyuki beach.

The castle’s beautiful white tower shone beneath a cloudless blue sky. They headed down the gravel path, startling a flock of pigeons into taking wing, and ascended a flight of stone stairs to reach the main gate. Past Tokiwagi Gate, the restored Odawara Castle soared up before them in all its concrete splendor.

Yes, it's very interesting to see all those places, especially if you catch the right time of day (and the right weather) - like that time I was in Odawara on the clear day at sunset, same as the characters.

I saw your blog (by having the page translated because I do not understand Russian xD) and I liked it a lot. I was pleased to see that you made a very detailed summary of Higanbashi Blues (Showa 7), do you plan to do more ?
I just turned on the page translator in my browser, just to see what kind of mess it makes of my Russian text - and it's so horrible :) I'm so sorry I don't have time to do this in proper English. I have done Showa summaries for some of the previous volumes, and some dialogue translations, and will be doing more, but in Russian only. At least the photos are international by default :)

Don't worry about that. It's true that the translation is not excellent but we still understand the essential. I made it translated into French, my native language, and I assure you that in the end it was not so terrible ! ;)
