You can call me Natsu. I recently made a new friend who is a new fan of Mirage of Blaze. Thanks to her, I re-discover my love for this series. It feels great to come back although the fandom is quiet now but I still follow Kuwabara-sensei and the other artists who did the illustrations and manga adaption at twitter. I found old MoB fics I wrote about 12 years ago back at Livejournal. I was amused at my naive and young self for writing such a silly and crack AU-ish story about Naoe possessing an animal. I've posted the story to my A03 and I'm planning to write a few more oneshot fics of this pair in the future. Ahaha, I'm glad to be back to my first, serious fandom after so many years being away ^_^ thank you! I'm glad this fic re-entertained you haha!Both the novels, anime and manga has serious moments that sometimes I wish the anime has a mini episodes for comic relief like how Sengoku Basara got Mame Sengoku Basara XD
It's nice to have doujinshi and stuff that capitalize on the more comic possibilities. Have you seen the stage plays? They also have lighter moments (a bit broader in tone than the anime or novels--I haven't read the manga).
Oh no, I haven't check out the stage plays but I did see the hype back at twitter when fans post pics of the stage play actors ^w^What I know so far is that it's based from the showa era of the novels! For some reason I want to see Haruhie wearing the lastest fashion for the 60s and 70s! ^0^// My favorite novel cover so far is the one called Mirage boogie woogie! XD
Haruie looks great in the stage plays! She has a very pretty blue outfit she wears most of the time.

Nagahide is an interesting character and so far I'm refreshing my memory of the novel translations and currently reading up to book 14-15 so it's at the scene where Chiaki is very frustrated at self-hypnosis Takaya.
