We got awesome news!
Sensei announced on her Twitter that there will be one more Shouwa stage play: Sangekou Blues (the last Shouwa volumes).
Stage plays will take place on 11-19 August 2018.

Rina, thank you for sharing the news here! I am actually now living in Japan and participated in the event where they announced the news. If I understood correctly, indeed the central cast will remain the same, but someone of the minor actors will change - I was unable to make out who they were talking about.
Even though there was a lot of joking and laughing, when sensei and the actors were talking about how this would be the last play there was certainly a melancholic mood present as well. They also noted how this play will come out earlier in the year as usual - the previous ones all came in autumn - so the hotness of the summer will be reflected in the passionate feelings of the play.

This play must be very intense. I wonder how they will make the final scenes! And interesting to see how Onogawa is acting her role as Minako.

We actually saw some of the new Minako's acting in the event when they played the DVD, and I think she had some power, so I'm definitely looking forward to seign the whole 4th play on DVD, and the 5th one as well! Yes, I will be here to see it live - I'm so happy!

Yes, I'm here for work for this year! I'll have to return to my home country a bit in the summer, but I'll be back in August in time for Mirage. Hi! I just remembered we were thinking of getting some tea and talking about Mirage during this last play. I would still be up for it if you'd like!Did you manage to get the ticket for the last show? I didn't, but I went on Sunday and still have tickets to Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evening performances.

I will definitely share once I've seen everything I can. I apologise for the wait, but I don't want to go into analysis mood before the end.
I saw it and I have mixed feelings about it. There were some deeply satisfying moments, but also a few very disappointing ones, personally for me (I know this won't be everyone's reaction, since many people were actually hoping for this development, but I definitely wasn't one of them :) I'm talking about how they handled the Kagetora-Minako transformation and the final scene. If not for this, it would be very good, in terms of acting from Tomita's and Hiramaki's parts - almost perfect. But it is what it is now. Almost like sensei's writing itself: 5 pages bordering on genius, and for the next 30 you just wish she hadn't written them at all.

First of all, I'm glad to see you back on the forums. Last we communicated, you were having trouble logging in.
I wonder if you would be willing to spoil--with many spoiler warnings or maybe messaging me--how they handle the Kagetora-Minako transformation? (If spoilers don't seem appropriate here, I think you can do PMs through this forum or we are connected on DW.) This is the sort of story for which I want to be thoroughly spoiled so that I can prepare myself for what's going to disappoint or hurt me. It helps me enjoy it more and be devastated and frustrated less. So basically, anything you'd like to share about how they handle this part of the story, I would be interested in knowing. Thanks for posting!
