Banana Fish finally has an anime! And the reviews/comment thread at Anime Feminist has prompted me to write this defense of Ash and Eiji's relationship as non-sexual (includes links to the original thread). Bonus round: here's an old essay of mine comparing Banana Fish to Mirage and Ai no Kusabi. This entry also reminds me that it is our own Asphodel who first put me on to Banana Fish (and Trigun: I owe her so much!) So I feel really validated in posting this here. :)
